Welcome to Latinos for Dental Careers (LDC)
LDC is a not-for profit 501(c)(3) organization that was established with the vision of improving the representation of Latinos in California’s dental schools to reflect the growing Latino general population. What started as a grassroots volunteer based mentorship organization has now grown to include the collaborative efforts of California’s five dental schools (USC, UCLA, Loma Linda, UOP, and UCSF), the Hispanic Dental Association (HDA), California Dental Association Foundation and numerous dedicated dentists and dental hygenists. By providing mentorship, scholarships, and other means of support, LDC has been able to assist many Latino students in their academic endeavors.

If you are interested in supporting LDC’s mission and vision, we encourage you to become an integral part of the LDC organization by joining us as a member, donating to the scholarship fund, or volunteering for committee work.
